I may not know you, but I’m sure we have at least one thing in common: you have a stack of Sigma Kappa shirts, sweatshirts, and letters folded in a stack at the back of your closet. Okay, maybe in a box in the garage, but nonetheless, they are collecting dust. Also, like me, you say at least once or twice a year, “One day, I’m going to make a quilt with my shirts.” And yet, they sit in their box packed with moth balls awaiting the day.
In full disclosure, my shirts are still packed but I do wear mine to the occasional event or Convention because of my involvement with the alumnae chapter and advising. However, I have been searching for people who will make me a quilt – because let’s face it I’m not going to sew my own.
Below are some shops on Etsy that will turn your letters into a quilt. Have any of you done this yet? We would love to see your pictures (firstname.lastname@example.org).
