Zeta Mu held their annual Ultra Violet fundraising event, Sigma Kappa’s Best Dance Crew on February 29th. The evening was a huge success, raising over $3500 for the Sigma Kappa Foundation! The entire UCSD Greek community participated with each sorority and fraternity choreographing a dance routine, judged by fraternity and sorority presidents. Led by the amazing Vice President Philanthropic Service, Megan, and the Assistant VPPS, Lexie, the Zeta Mu women pulled off an awesome event. The lollipop table, complete with the classic gourmet lollipops we sold as collegiate members, was manned by La Jolla Alumnae Chapter members. The entire lot of lollipops sold out before the event even started. The Zeta Mu Vice President Alumnae Relations ensured the alumnae had VIP treatment. We had our own reserved section with an adorable red velvet cupcake from Sprinkles on each chair. Each chapter showed us some serious talent with Pi Beta Phi and Tau Kappa Epsilon earning the coveted prize of being named Sigma Kappa's best dance crew. It was fun cheering on the UCSD greek community (and transporting us back to our college days for a couple hours) while supporting our local collegiate chapter. We had a great turnout and hope to see everyone soon at our upcoming happy hour.
